If you are not in the Rochester NY area, you can practice with me virtually for FREE!  I have two YouTube channels:  check out YogiBethC, which offers beginning yoga and mindfulness meditation videos designed for adults, and Breathing Breaks, providing short breathing and movement activities for kids.

I teach mindful yoga, emphasizing the mind-body connection and customizing the practice to each individual.  (See my YouTube series called VIP Yoga - Variations for Individualized Practice.)  My classes combine foundational asana (physical postures) with breathing techniques (pranayama) and mindfulness. I use themes to nurture the mind-body connection as well as to incorporate all eight limbs of classical yoga. Students can expect my classes to be slower-paced with a workshop-like feel at times, including liberal use of props. I am serious about yoga and yet playful in my teaching.
